How does the calibration of TopTrack work?

The TopTrack system learns by itself. The information collected is registered and analysed online and then immediately returned as weighing data for each truck. A calibration, i.e. a learning period for the system, is required to ensure that this analysis is well adjusted to the conditions of the site in question.

The calibration is coordinated by an ALTAROAD representative on site. In consultation with our representative, our client organises a series of vehicle runs over the sensors with already identified weights. These weights are communicated to the ALTAROAD team, who couples them with the information collected by the system and controls whether the vehicles and the distribution of the weights used correspond to the actual situation.

The calibration period may vary depending on the complexity of the site and the types of vehicle to be considered.
