The responsible processing of your personal data is of the utmost importance to ALTAROAD.

ALTAROAD is committed to preserving the confidentiality, respect, and security of your personal data, in compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR“).

 

What data do we collect?

  • Contact data: once an active contact has been established between us (e.g. by email or via our contact form), the data you provide us with (name, address, company name, questions, telephone number, email address, and other) is processed.
  • Job application data: if you apply for a job via our careers page or via email, the data and information you provide us with (name, CV, application letter, telephone number, email address) is processed.
  • Registration data: if you register for our newsletter, we store the registration data (name, company name, address, email address, telephone number).

 

For what purposes do we process your data?

ALTAROAD collects, stores, and uses your personal data to allow you to access specific information, to contact you in the context of our commercial relationship, and to improve ALTAROAD’s services and website.

For example, we may process your data for advertising purposes to:

  • Send marketing information (via email or social network messaging services)
  • Ask you to fill a satisfaction survey on our services
  • Analyse your needs
  • Invite you to events and training opportunities
  • Remind you if you have services that require follow-up.

In compliance with article (6)(1) of the GDPR, we cannot process your data without your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time, in part or in full, by contacting us at privacy@altaroad.com.

 

For how long do we store your data?

We store your data for the time necessary to fulfil our obligations to our users. However, due to legal obligations regarding data storage, we store your personal data in connection with orders and bookings for a minimum of five years after the execution of a contract (French Labour Code, article R1221-26; French Civil Code, article 2224).

With regards to data concerning recruitment, we store it until you revoke your consent and for a period of two years maximum after your last contact.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter or are contacted for marketing purposes and you are not one of our customers, we will retain your data until you revoke your consent and for a period of three years maximum after your last contact.

 

How does ALTAROAD protect your data?

We take the necessary technical and organisational security measures, in compliance with article 32 of the GDPR, to protect your personal data from unintentional or unlawful deletion, alteration, damage or loss, as well as from unauthorised disclosure or access.

In addition, we and our employees are committed to ensure data privacy. However, it is not possible to guarantee 100% secure transmission of data over the internet or other networks. Therefore, while we endeavour to protect information transmitted on or through our site, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through our website and you do so at your own risk.

What about links to third party websites?

Our website may contain links to other websites or allow other websites to send you links. A link to a third party website does not mean that we endorse or are affiliated with it. We have no control over third party websites. When you access third party websites or content, you do so at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third party site before providing information to the website.

 

Who are the recipients of your data?

The main recipient of your data is ALTAROAD. However, the data collected may be communicated to ALTAROAD’s partners, contractors, subcontractors, and service providers, as well as to the administrative and judicial authorities at their request.

These data transfers are carried out within the framework of the objectives mentioned above and within the limits of the tasks that we have entrusted to our partners, contractors, subcontractors, and service providers.

 

Is your data transferred outside the EEA?

In the event that ALTAROAD transfers personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we ensure that these third countries have a level of data protection deemed sufficient and appropriate by the European Union.

 

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

In compliance with the regulations applicable to personal data, you have the right to information, access, rectification, erasure, opposition, restriction of processing, and portability of your personal data (articles 13 to 21 of the GDPR).
